En route to Milford Sound

Up at dawn to ride this iconic 125km road up and into the heart of Fiordland. The first 100km climb progressively through rural then huge alpine landscapes, up to the Homer Tunnel at 1000m. After passing 1.2km through the mountain, you pop out the other side and descend down to sea level and Milford Sound over 20 fun and fast kilometers. A big day out in the saddle, but a rest day tomorrow is in order!
