Batik

Out of all the countries in the region where I spend time, Indonesia is the one where wearing traditional clothing (these batik shirts) is the most common. You can often see a sea of them, if you can see through the cloud of cigarette smoke well enough to identify the wearers.

Day spent in transit, dealing with taxis, toll fees, airports, baggage and hotels that look more like an EasyJet themed nightclub. Bedding down for the night in Medan, Sumatra.
