Courtney

A couple of last minute ticket buying incidents (after promising not to buy any more), resulted in Fenner and I being lucky enough to see Courtney Barnett at the Apollo in Liverpool this evening.

I wasn't on top form but enjoyed the gig thoroughly and was delighted that F enjoyed it too. It's amazing how much noise can come from a set of drums, a guitar and a bass. She is one talented musician and there were a few songs that I thoroughly enjoyed. I think I most enjoyed watching a couple of guys in the crowd that bounced their way through the entire set, I want that energy and pure joy.

Hoping she will be at Latitude festival so I can take Mia to see her too.
