Duck day afternoon

I like the pintail. He's a suave, debonair, duck-about-town, kind of guy. They always look dapper - for those old enough think Steed in The Avengers - with a white stripe from the head down the neck to join the white breast and undercarriage. It also has the tail which gives it its name - a proper sharp dressed bird. If Armani made ducks they'd come up with something like this. 

Only a few live here so this chap and his friends are likely to be visitors from somewhere colder; they have been recorded visiting the UK from Labrador in Canada and also from Poland and Mongolia.
