Limassol Marina
Back blip #5
SOOC and taken on my phone! I'm sure I could steal a picture taken by G on her DLSR but I'm a bit tired!
Well, it is Advent today and it couldn't feel less like it because of all the things I am thinking about to get finished over the next few days. If it wasn't for Christmas lights and related statues on the streets being put up, I might well forget the specialness of the upcoming season!
The day started early again, having to visit the flat first thing. They start work really early here. Even in the winter. This time it was to let the people deliver and install the white goods.
We then raced down to Limassol to meet up with friend Rozalia who is helping me with a few things with another property. Today, everything fitted into place and things happened just in time for all that needed to be done i.e. people to see etc. In between meetings, and lunch, we had an unexpected free 40 minutes, so headed down to the old town and newly built Marina. It is quite picturesque. It was also midday - the worst time to take pictures.
GREAT lunch with Rozalia at a very smart Italian restaurant and we even managed to phone and chat with SweetArt at the end. Then back to the Old Town for more legal work, which also brought some great news of transfer fees being halved to the end of the year! Wow.
Believe it or not, we had to race to Nicosia from there to change things, return things and buy some more as the assembly team are coming tomorrow! Did it all in record time, and even made it back to Pervolia to meet up for dinner with the couple (Chaz and Judy) we met on Friday afternoon. We wanted to pick their brains on a few things, and they were fantastic with the information they gave, but more so, they are genuinely nice and were equally happy to see us again. What we didn't realise is Tuesday night is Bingo night in the local Taverna. Hmmm... we joined in with the Quiz which followed, but didn't fare so well. :(
