Pirates ahoy..stand by to repel!

The beautiful Sail Training Vessel "Europa", anchored just off St Peter Port in the Little Russell.
I'm sure in previous times the site of this French flagged vessel would have sent the militia scurrying for their muskets.
Happily in these EU time we can relax (!)
Europa is a steel-hulled barque from the Netherlands, originally built in 1911, as a lightship at the H.C. Stülcken & Sohn shipyard in Hamburg, Germany.
In 1994 she was fully restored as a barque, a three mast rigged ship, and retrofitted as a special-purpose sail-training ship.
A nice visitor I like to see lots of these!
