He's Back
There was an air of excitement in the house for a wee red visitor.
No 3 was awake at 4.30 am, 5.30 am and eventually up at 6.30 am to check to see if 'Nelf' the naughty elf was back for Christmas,
He didn't come empty handed. A Lego advent calendar and chocolate advent calendars for the girls. We're looking forward to seeing what nonsense he gets up to this year.
News from a cousin that my grandparents house was up for sale in Dublin. There's a link HERE.
The property barely resembles the house I used to stay in. The tiny parlour that was my Nana's pride and joy (and no one was allowed in it!) is now part of an open plan living space. Nice to see the upstairs bedroom fireplace is still there though. Grandad's potato plot and the lilac tree that my mum adored is no longer there. But it was a treat to have a sneaky peak through the key hole.
In other news, and also in Dublin, my cousin;s daughter delivered a beautiful baby girl. It was very special to be sharing all those first photos with the happy family. Congratuations !
