Urostomy

This year it seems like my Dad is 1 of the 10,000 who are diagnosed with
Bladder cancer in the UK, he didn't smoke, but at 82 he is an older person. Eventually he was diagnosed weeks ago with non-invasive bladder cancer & had to have a series off appointments to see if he was suitable for surgery. Today he got the date for surgery to remove his bladder, next Monday, 7th December, as long as there are no emergencies.
It is a worrying time, he has been my rock all my life.
