Whilst all around........

........my garden plants are succumbing one by one to winter rain and wind, this rose is positively blooming!!
I bought it in a supermarket In June for £2 --99 all of 10" tall!!
Its now 6' and climbing!
True; I put it in a sheltered spot against my wall ,where all but the most determined deer couldn't chomp it up ,and packed its roots with copious  amounts of leaf mould !     
But even so,have a feeling  that this is no shrinking violet ,but one tough cookie  :-))
And whats more shes  pretty too,,,,,especially in todays sunshine  :-))

Excuse me whilst I go shopping to the supermarket again :-D
