....again. Emergency blip, & she's always willing to help me out! We had a nice smooth flight once we got in the air---it was the time leading UP to the flight that wasn't too good! It was raining when we left for the hour and a half drive to O'Hare & part way there it turned to snow. The roads were fine, but the visibility was bad. Then we got to the place where we always park (& they shuttle us to the airport) & drove right past it as we were both looking for the building, which we realized--after we went past it--that it had been torn down since we were there last, which was only a little over a month ago! Got through security relatively quickly & went to the gate where there was yelling going on! One guy was accusing another of stealing his laptop--a small fight broke out & the people at the check in desk called for security who wasn't coming!! Then a large man--a transvestite--started yelling that someone had spilled his coffee & he wanted to be reimbursed for it!! When no one responded, he proceeded to call probably every person in the world that he knew, one after the other, to relay, in totally foul and disgusting language, the happenings at the gate! It only took 45 min. For security to arrive which did nothing to make anyone feel secure about the airport security! Then our plane left an hour late because the plane had to be de-iced! But at least we got here safely!!
