Greenham Common in the rain, sun, rain, sun

Much frustration doing this entry - now my third attempt.

Went for a walk at Greenham Common to try and break in our new walking boots. Managed over 4 miles in rain, sun, rain, sun and more rain. Few insects around (apart from the one that bit husband on the leg). Found a common spotted orchid and enjoyed seeing the range of meadow flowers in bloom.

Looking forward to the football later. Shame we won't be watching it together but wer'e hoping that son number one will join us by text.
