Our Mural

Last month I said our school had been selected to paint a mural.  The artist Marc Spikerbosch met with the children I selected and they brainstormed the special characteristics of our school area.  We are on the edge of the city so the farmland and the stream are featuring strongly.  The children did some planning drawings and Marc took them and used them to plan out the final mural.  He has brought the panels back to school and this week the children are dong the painting under supervision.  They seem to be enjoying it and taking it very seriously some even paint at lunch time.  There are five panels which will be attached to a wall of our airport terminal building. 
Thank you for all the good wished on my moving day.  Today I had two classes and they were able to work on top of the tables.  The afternoon was my release time so I got a few more things stored away.
