Barrancas Beach
Continuing the theme from yesterday's Blip (mostly because I neglected to take any photos today), here is another photo from my Thanksgiving visit to Naval Air Station Pensacola in November 2013.
This was shot on the Barrancas Beach access located at the base of Pensacola Light across from Fort Barrancas.
"Alone, alone we wander on,
In the southern winter day.
Through the dreamy veil the fog has spun
The world seems far away;
The tide comes in—the birds fly low,
As if to catch our speech.
Ah, Destiny! Why must we ever go
Away from the Florida beach?"
