Between the showers

A day of showers and hardly a sign of sun. Between the showers we managed a walk up the track out of the village into the hills.

We were surprised by the amount of damage done to the track by the water pouring down during the storms of a few days ago. It is obvious in this picture, but it was far worse further down, where the water must have flowed down in a torrent and cut deep channels.
