Serene Sylvester

It was such a peaceful scene as I passed my neighbours paddock early this afternoon.  Sylvester and Pedro the resident Alpacas were very happy sitting in the grass and didn't mind one bit when I stopped and walked across to the fence with my zoom lens in hand.

It was a far cry from the tragedy in Los Angeles that was played out on our television sets this morning.  There are no words to describe our feelings, except to say that we felt numb.  You can but wonder where will this all end.   Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost so much from such a senseless and sadistic event.
