Shodan Anniversary

This evening I dug out my grading certificate for my shodan. I was rather stunned by the date: 2nd November 1985; it was the 2nd of November this year - exactly thirty years to the day - that I felt compelled to set up a training area and get back into karate.

Also seen here is the Chidokan emblem that Sims kancho-sensei sent me; it arrived today, and I've now sewn it onto my new gi.
