Just one volume of notes !

Here I am again at the Royal Gwent on my six week visit . Sitting here looking at my notes and wondering how much bigger they are going to get ! This is one of three volumes of notes here , which span back to 1986, which is when I switched from St Thomas' to the Gwent .
Strong winds and torrential rain forecast here to hit around 1pm , so I'm heading out early for lunch at The Greyhound in Usk, and hope to avoid the weather . I think I'll get back in to my book when I return , The Girl On The Train , which I'm really enjoying , and stay put this evening .

On another note , many thanks to you all for my 'welcome back' messages - I am going to try my utmost to post most days , and continue to comment on your lovely journals . I have missed being amongst you all in this wonderful friendly community xx
