Celebrations

Tonight the Pennine Horizons Digital Archive - of which I have been involved in for the the past 4 years - marked the reaching of their target of 10,000 images on their website with an evening for all the volunteers who have been involved over the years.
Whilst there are 10,000 + images on the website, the archive contains over 30,000 images - and is still growing.  Images and collections continue to be donated and, of course, today's photograph is tomorrows archive.
The work will continue - we are building an archive for future generations - long may it continue.
