A little gold at the end of the rainbow

Not the best of photos, but I've been trying to memorialize the visitors that have finally made it here to the feeders, the ones I set my sights on attracting when I set up my feeders again after many years this last spring. I have a pair of American Goldfinch that have been making their home around my backyard, and they hang out at the feeder quite a bit. They are very skittish, so it's hard to sneak up on them to do a photo, and with all the rain we've been having my window is dirty again. They also always seem to know where to land on the feeder so I don't have a good angle at them to get a good photo. So I'm going with this and finally getting proof of their existence in my backyard up!
