Arty artefacts

My friends, Anne and Drummond, invited Daughter No 1 and me round for coffee and empire biscuits this afternoon, because they wanted to catch up with K before she makes her way back to Denmark tomorrow.

They are artists and their home is full of interesting paintings and handicrafts, as this blip shows. The bowl was brought over from Tanzania by a friend, while the little Chinese horsemen bronzes have been picked up in various flea markets or shops. Both the paintings are by Anne's talented daughters.

I never tire of visiting this house!
