Afternoon Shadows

When Tony and I were walking today we were really aware of our shadows in the bright sunshine.  In this shot we were leaning in as I showed him the screen of my camera.  It turned out to be the best shot of my very busy day.  I wish I had time to participate in the AT challenge today but it's time to cook dinner and then I'm looking forward to a quiet evening, hoping to unwind a little.  :-) 
This looks much better large because of the orientation.

The victims and their families of the most recent act of terrorism in California are in my thoughts and prayers.  So very sad for them and for all of us.  When will this end?
