Ever decreasing circles

We had Super Grandad at work today. He came along bright and early with his log-splitter, ready to make light work of a tree root in the garden. Log split, he then crazily volunteered to keep the kids amused while I took the van for its MOT. When I got back I found he'd been busy shifting plants and tiding the garden, not to mention letting the kids use him as a human climbing frame.

As Super Grandad made to leave, the kids joined him and merrily waved goodbye to me.
Sorry kids, you're actually stuck with your mum, it's grandad you need to wave goodbye to.'
Oh, the tears!
