A new day is dawning

After the rain and gloom of the past few mornings it was wonderful to step outside this morning to a wonderful bright dawn. The sun was breaking through giving a colourful start to the day! And so the unseasonably mild weather continues giving us highs around 14oc today, strange for December and decidedly unchristmas-like … but I’ll be glad when the heating bill comes in!!


Busy productive day at work and a prompt departure for a change and then when I had got home Mr Postman has brought the ‘Elf delivery’ for my sister & her girls!!They called round yesterday evening after late night shopping in town and a visit to Father Christmas. Think my sister and her hubby have some interesting ‘Elf-on-the-shelf’ days ahead!!!
