Wild Strawberries in December

Well I really am retired now  -  I got a message from my website host this morning saying that since there hadn't been any action for a year  "We will delete the contents of the workspace and allow other users to re-use its URL."  I hope the next person has the same success as I had. Another stage of my life closing!  Lots of birdie action in the garden today. One that really amused me was a pigeon sitting on a suet ball while he pecked at it - thus making sure no-one else got a look in.  Eventually a huge rook chased him off!  My blip for today though, is this wild strawberry which I eventually ate. Can't remember picking strawberries in December before!
