Cottage Cheer

The sign behind the Christmas tree, "Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore" seems very appropriate on the day that blip Central has announced that the current "owners" of blipfoto will not be supporting blipfoto financially much longer. As "lifetime members", it is awkward to be offered the opportunity to purchase "futures" in blipfoto. So we ask ourselves, do we embark on the journey of being investors in "owning our own life", with a company that promised us the moon, but gave us a shadow, or do we remain mere "members" and "lose our life"?

This is not the holiday cheer I was expecting. But I will be merry any way :-)
Life can not be owned, and it is not so easily taken.
