3 sights in London today

Popped into Tate Modern for a coffee and to admire the fantastic view of St Pauls and then had a look at the Turbine Hall's exhibition - Empty Lot. The artist, Abraham Cruzvillegas, has filled a grid of triangular wooden planters with soil from parks across London. Nothing will be planted in them but they will be lit and watered and watched to see if anything grows over the next six months. Art or gardening?!!
Walking on towards the Festival Hall I spotted the Carlsberg Christmas tree handing out free beer and spot prizes. An enthusiastic queue was forming as I passed but I had to get to my course so I just walked on by.
