How high's the water, Mama?

I took this shot of the Tweed at Kelso this morning, just as the sun was rising.  After all the rain overnight, it was very swollen, although not as high as it was in 2009 when I worked in Kelso as this part of the road was under water and all the cars had to go through the show ground at the other side of the road.

Seeing the river so high reminded me of a song from my childhood, but according to the gauge at the side of the river, though, it was actually nine feet high and rising!
