Radiating radiation
I always think it's a bit disappointing to be injected with radiation and not glow in the dark. Anyway that's what happened to me earlier this afternoon, followed by varying amounts of time under scanners. The longest time was twenty five minutes of lying completely still and with nothing better to do than work out that each movement of the scanner took ten seconds, followed by a minute of realignment, making a grand total of 136.36 recurring movements.
This is all in preparation for an operation to remove a rogue parathyroid gland some time next year.
I was glad I took this picture this morning otherwise it would have been the Christmas tree outside Addenbrooke's hospital.
Have a good weekend one and all.
