Tory MP looking for a target?

This may not quite be what it seems.

At the Bow Brickhill village historical pageant this afternoon, one of the 1940s participants, dressed as a Wermacht infantryman, handed over his rifle in order to join with the Sealed Knot (Parliamentarians), and a bunch of other interesting characters plucked from different historical epochs, who went on to dance the "Lambeth Walk"...

The chap holding the rifle, and looking nonplussed (or very far from plussed), is the Conservative MP for Milton Keynes South, Iain Stewart http://www.conservatives.com/People/Members_of_Parliament/Stewart_Iain.aspx

You can probably guess what I thought of saying - or offering a suggestion - but I didn't...
