Jazz at the Château

Cycled down to the Château Pontecoulant this afternoon to listen to a jazz concert. Beautiful picturesque location and very pleasant sitting out in the sun listening to the music. Not really my type of jazz but nevertheless a relaxing afternoon before the cycle home and a very steep hill up. My wife phoned to find out what time we'd be back - so arranged for her to collect us from bottom of said steep hill.

And did the jazz make up for what I had originally planned for this weekend. NO. I was suppose to be in the UK for the Whatstandwell Annual Beer Festival and listening to local bands - but my son's new passport hasn't yet arrived. So missed out on a (few) decent pint of English ale and decent music.

As it happens I couldn't drink alcohol as I got bitten by a tic and now on strong antibiotics as a rash appeared - need I say more!
