Wigwam Adventure

We started our holiday today!

We drove all the way to Whitby before we stopped. It was almost impossible to find a parking space, but we managed in the end. We were so hungry that our first stop was straight to the fish and chip shop for lunch. There was so weird Morris dancing festival going on so we watched that as we ate which was funny. We probably spent a little too much time laughing at the Morris dancers waving their flags in the air, some of them were even dressed in black face which I thought was really rude.

We explored the little back streets of the shops and watched a few people crabbing. A family gave us their crabbing equipment so we gave it go. It was way more fun and a lot harder than I thought it was going to be but we caught a few biggies before handing the equipment on to another family to have a go.

From there, after another chuckle at the morris dancing, we headed straight to our wigwam which is absolutely amazing. It's so cute and cosy, we've got a fire pit and a barbecue. Rory cooked us dinner which was amazing, I do love a barbecue and we snuggled up outside our wigwam for the night. Tomorrow, we are definitely getting a fire pit and having a barbecue again!
