Forget-me-nots escaping the heat

The weather has turned very hot and dry (over 90 degrees F), but the stream banks still have a few spots of cool color tucked away, like these forget-me-nots. Lots of bullfrogs and dragonflies--the dragonflies especially numerous this early.
