'Oils & Tarkine'
A super busy Saturday today starting with Judo this morning, Dylans friend Lucian hitched a ride home with us and we visited the school on the way home as the kids wanted to show us some new tricks they've been learning on the parallel bars in the playground. A quick stop off at home for Dylan to change out of his gee and then we dropped Lucian back at his house and stopped off for a quick cuppa.
Over to another friend of Dylans at lunchtime for Sasha's birthday party. Sasha's parents have taken 6 or 7 boys down to their beach house for the night so we won't see him again until late tomorrow afternoon. From there we came home for a quick bite to eat for lunch and then headed over to Aunty Leng's house to drop off Bella for a few hours while MsMun and I attended a Bob Brown Foundation night at Fed Square for a 'Save The Tarkine' inspirational talk. Can't wait to visit this very special and sacred part of the world in a couple of weeks now and the Foundation aims to have the Tarkine listed as a World Heritage area by 2020. I'm going to do my bit to try and spread the word.
As we were about an hour early when we arrived in town this afternoon, I suggested that we head over to the Arts Centre to have a look at the Midnight Oil exhibition that they have on at the moment. One of my all time favourite bands and I'm currently reading Peter Garret's new book 'Big Blue Sky' which I'm really enjoying. Here is MsMun standing looking at one of the displays with this brilliant image as a backdrop.
Just arrived home and it's now after 11pm, bed time. zzzzzzz
