Layers of Light

It was quite a sky show on Friday morning! There were lots of dark clouds, and then suddenly, in between all the clouds, there were layers and layers of light.

I have recently discovered a little pull-off along Park Ave., that is half-way between the road to the stadium and the road to Millbrook Marsh. That part of Park Ave. is a very popular stretch of road, especially during the morning and evening commutes.

I pulled the car in the other day and found that it was a fine place to get a shot looking toward Mount Nittany (which is off to the left, outside of scene in this photo).

What a way to start the day!
