You know you love your dog…..

when you are building extensions for the barrier outside with an electric staple gun at 9pm in the sleet.
Went out this morning to go to the local dog shop in Stockbridge. Having been up since 6am with Kilda we didn’t realise the time. Got there to find out it didn’t open till noon. It was raining very hard and Kilda got soaked on the walk form the car and wasn’t impressed. Had a quick look around the market. I went to get some coffee while J took Kilda back to the car. On the way she met a bloke who also has a Spanish Water Dog. She didn’t get his contact details but hopefully we will find him again.
Kilda was shivering and soaked but after a traumatic time with the hair dryer soon warmed up.
Yesterday and today she has learned to climb over the barrier. So I went to B&Q to get some wood on the way to the first puppy training class. Kilda hasn’t had all her injections so I went without a dog. Very strange. Learned a lot and now have some things to practice with her.

Came back and started to build the barrier extensions. Hopefully this will keep her in place
