Great Day Out

Went to Würzburg today with my friend. Really lovely day. We came by train which only takes about an hour with the ICE.
The day started with drizzle but it soon stopped and we even had a bit of blue sky as seen in the picture.
We went up to the fortress Marienberg and it was huge. The view over Würzburg was also fantastic.
We finished the sightseeing with a stroll around the Christmas Market where we had a bite to eat and of course mulled wine.
We'll definitely come back to this lovely town.
