St Nicholas snacks

'Het heerlijk avondje is gekomen'= 'The delightful/yummy evening has arrived' , it's St Nicholas Eve or Sinterklaas Avond and we've done another trip back to The Netherlands with presents and snacks, home baked speculaas and apple pie, chocolate letters, Belgian speculaas or rather speculoos and chocolate ware. The discussion about the Petes hasn't really reached Belgium yet. Now  getting ready to have a 'gourmet' dinner and then it's looking what St Nicholas brought us all. Won't be able to comment until very late if at all. Have a lovely Saturday evening :-)
