THE HORSE IN THE STABLE

The day started with a sky, sugarsweet, pink and blue. I gazed at it for some time. Tried to call Piet Hein for this sight, but he was still asleep.
He is the one who loves to catch skies. I only gaze.
Some time later I found all the reactions, gratulations, stars and dozens of hearts given with enthusiasm and love for my 1825th blipday. I felt and feel overwhelmed and very thankful.
Now I will start to thank you, if possibly indiviually, and look and comment at the today's pictures. I guess it will take some time.

My haiku:

If I want to read
Your expression and reach out
To your mind or soul ......

And the proverb:

To have a soul above buttons.

1795  G. Colman, Sylv. Daggerwood:  My father was an eminent Button-Maker... but I had a soul above buttons.

I remember my mother telling me that she has worked for a time in a button-factory.
And there was a song that went this way: Lila is mode, lila is chic, dragen alle meisjes van de knopenfabriek.
Translated: Lilac is in fashion, lilac is chic, all girls of the buttonfabric wear lilac. The dutch sounds better, it rimes.
