Rain

Storm Desmond swept in yesterday afternoon and the rain began to fall. Now , more than 24 hours later it is still raining.

Our journey to a very good Constituency Training Event and monthly meeting in Inveraray this morning was through lots of surface water on the roads and past many flooded or waterlogged fields. This was at the top of Glendaruel , one of many places where the River Ruel had burst its banks.

It was even worse on the way back but at least we made it.
