Surprise!

After sitting in my office looking out at a wet and miserable day, I certainly wasn't expecting to be driving home in snow! Even when I got a message from home saying the road wasn't safe to drive up ... I still thought nah, it's just raining... surely.
But, sure enough, rain turned to snow, in a big way. Chaos ensued. When I eventually got to the road in to my village I knew it was time to abandon ship (car, actually). Luckily Someone had left me a survival bag containing wellies and a coat! So I was able to yomp up the hill safely, passing stranded cars on my way. Everyone knows you can't drive up in to our village in the snow without snow tyres or 4 wheel drive - but it doesn't stop people trying!
