Late Blip
A trip down to the outskirts of London to join Chris to see how a photography competition works. Part of the reason for this is that we are both looking to put together a panel of pictures for the LRPS award, and judging our pictures will be an important part of this process. For Chris, this is much more regular, as he is part of a camera club and helps organise their competitions.
I found it an odd thing. Whilst there was some interesting observations by the judge, which were very fair and useful comments about cropping and composition, there were also a lot of things that were obviously just his opinion on things.
I guess competitive photography is not my thing.
Driving back this was a very quick blip on the way home. It was late, and the weather was poor.
