My friend's mum died today - she was 73. She died of cancer. 

Things happened fast. She was a hill-walker (every weekend), didn't drink much at all and didn't smoke. She walked everywhere. She looked 63 not 73. 

She managed one course of chemo. She started the second course but had to stop as she simply couldn't cope with it. 

I think the chemo got her not the cancer.
