Christmas 1947

My first Christmas, age 10 months. By my second Christmas, I'd be a big sister.

How the world has changed since then! I'm very glad that books -- real books, printed on paper -- have survived, and I'm hopeful that Blipfoto will become Blipfuture and I'll be able to stay in touch with the wonderful friends I've met here. 

I've registered for Blipfuture and will send my investment once those of us in the United States are able do that. I love the concept of community-owned Blipfuture, and am happy to support it, just as I pay an annual fee to be a member of Ancestry.com.

Both of those passions are about people dear to me, and would not be possible without engaged members and today's technological wizardry.
