Folly Castle
Caught up on lots of those jobs you never get around to doing this morning. It wet and windy first thing then it cleared up nicely so we decided to go up to Abergele to the Castle, known as Gwrych Castle.
You can't get into the grounds now as its all fenced in, it is being restored. We walked for a few miles further until we reached a lone turret which overlooks the A55, it was all uphill. Mike had serious leg burn.
Whoever erected this needed nerves of steel the drop at the other side of the turret is sheer.
A good walk which the dogs enjoyed. Home and then roast chicken dinner followed by a nice glass of Mateus Rose
