Salad from the new raised garden

I started picking greens from my new garden a few days ago. Tonight I've picked the most to date, enough for dinner and lunch tomorrow.

I'm happy about that, as are my insides :-)

Last night I had a lovely break through with Benedict. He initiated cuddles, and it went on for a long time without him withdrawing or getting rough. He also purred long and loud. I'd heard him purr before but never with this intensity.

I've deliberately put the telly on so he learn it won't harm him. Needless to say I'm downstairs and he's upstairs.

Thank you for the encouraging comments. He is a lovely little fellow and there are many good signs :-)
