Marlborough Daisy

We have a very attractive daisy endemic to Marlborough. It's botanical name is Pachystegia Insignis. It is commonly known as the Marlborough Daisy and it grows in the most unlikely places such as dry rock faces..If you look carefully when driving along parts of the Kaikoura coast on State Highway One you can spot the daisy flowering up on the rocky cliffs beside the sea. It is a lovely sight at this time of the year.
