Wending to Wellington

Today was a travel day, but before we journeyed to Wellington we stopped off at the famous Farmers' Market at Hastings, just south of Napier. It was amazing! Great coffee, cheeses, bread, fruit and wine. We bought enough for a picnic for our journey.

The road to Wellington goes up via some steep and windy mountain passes, which got a bit scary as we travelled through low clouds!

In Wellington we ate in a pan-Asian restaurant called Chow, which I can recommend! The photo is one of the Precious and Gustavo, as we wended our way back to the hotel after dinner.
