Mayor's Christmas Fayre

A busy morning saw us Tuttles and friends Lee, Barb 'n' Robbie help out with the adult tombola, toy tombola, scout stall & the Ellesmere Port goodies stall (calender, mugs, town history books etc). Tried to capture the festive spirit here with this montage from the stage of the Civic Hall. It was taken within the first hour as I knew I wasn't going to have enough time to take pictures later on. The crowds kept coming and one could sense the community spirit through & through.

It is the first time a Mayor's Christmas Fayre has been held, which was something Mrs Tuttle went about and out of her way to organise and it went very well. Been an experience for her and the rest of us and looks like it'll happen again next year.

The afternoon was spent finishing the wallpapering at her sister's house while Mrs Tuttle sorted things out at home. Curry night with a bit of Strictly, Dr Who & Match Of The Day.
