Mr Cadogan's Cows

I slipped this in between one extended bout of rain and another. I had a much lazier sort of day today. The day wasnot fit for doing much outside. I pottered in the tunnel for a bit and marked the french test.

This farmer always docks the tails of his cows which seems so unnecessary to me. On those rare hot days the cows need their tails to whoosh away the flies. Maybe it makes milking easier.
