Broken Windows, Constable Street
6.7C clear and sunny. Wind to 25 mph with gusts to 33 mph.
Strongest gust yesterday reported as 60 mph.
Grocery shopping this morning at Sainsburys and in M&S at City Quay/Gallagher Retail Park in Dundee then we got Maeve the Deerhound from the car and had a walk round to some old buildings nearby where we went at the beginning of November. The bright low sunlight was ideal for picking out these colourful broken windows on a derelict building in Constable Street. Just the very thing for Derelict Sunday.
Before lunch Apothecary7 and I took Maeve for a walk. We went up to the church and carried on out the road towards Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The track was still muddy today, despite the wind which was drying the pavements and roads. We came back along the cycle path and turned up the road to the shore to get home rather than go on the more usual longer loop up the main road.
Later there was more work done on our latest papier-mâché pieces.
Before dinner there was a chance to watch The Jungle Book on telly ... who doesn't sing along to The Bare Necessities !
